President John Dramani Mahama has chaired a high-level National Security Council meeting to evaluate and address the severe flooding currently impacting seven regions across the country.

During the emergency session, the Council received comprehensive situational briefings from the Post-Flood Mitigation Task Force and its specialized subcommittees.
