The Government has released GH¢1.677 billion, representing 85% of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture's (MoFA) approved 2026 budget for goods, services, and capital expenditure. Deputy Finance Minister Thomas Nyarko Ampem confirmed the release at the AGRICONNECT Compact launch in Accra. The funds are being heavily channelled into interventions to improve productivity, including GH¢581.4 million for 50 Farmer Service Centres and GH¢515.3 million for the supply of fertilisers and certified seeds to farmers.
