Israel Kwadwo Safo Akofena was arrested in connection with a June 21 shooting incident that injured his sister, former MP Adwoa Safo.

The Ghana Police Service has arrested Israel Kwadwo Safo Akofena — the younger brother of former MP Adwoa Safo — in connection with the June 21 shooting incident that left her with a gunshot injury to her left ear.

Two additional suspects, Nana Kwaku Afriyie and Kwadwo Safo Koomson, have been arrested and are assisting police investigations.
