A search of his residence resulted in the recovery of three pump action guns, four pistols, 62 AA and BB cartridges, 54 rounds of 40 calibre ammunition, and other exhibits.

Works on the Jinijini-Sampa Road Project in the Berekum West District of the Bono Region has slowed down due to the theft of construction materials. The contractor, Rango Construction Limited, said that the theft of gravel at some sections of the road is slowing down construction activities and could affect the pace at which work progresses if the situation is not addressed.

The Jinijini-Sampa Road Project forms part of the government’s Big Push infrastructure programme, which is aimed at improving road networks and enhancing connectivity across the country. Public Relations Officer of Rango Construction Limited, Felix Agyei, disclosed the concern at a ceremony at Jinijini, where the Berekum West District Assembly presented working tools, equipment and other forms of assistance to 57 Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).
