Meghan, Duchess of Sussex is travelling to the United Kingdom with her children Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, to join Prince Harry during his July 7 to 11 visit — despite security concerns that had thrown the family trip into doubt. The Telegraph confirmed on July 9 that Meghan and the children will travel to the UK, though they will not make any public appearances as a family. Harry had originally planned to travel with his wife and children but arrived alone earlier this week after his spokesperson raised concerns about whether appropriate and proportionate protective security would be in place for his family. The visit will mark the first time Archie and Lilibet have been in the UK since June 2022, when the family attended Platinum Jubilee celebrations for the late Queen Elizabeth II. It is also the last time King Charles is known to have seen his grandchildren. Whether Meghan and the children will visit King Charles or Prince William during the trip remains unclear.
